In late July 2024, ACHCO staff accompanied a UNESCO mission to install monitoring devices at the minaret of Jam, one of Afghanistan's two World Heritage sites. The team also recorded the impact of the most recent spring floods and surveyed potential sites for a footbridge across the Hari Rud River aimed at improving access for communities in the area.
